Made up of a team of passionate bed makers that have been handcrafting bespoke beds and mattresses for over a decade. As a result, they have become masters of their trade, producing showstopping creations that can be found throughout homes and hotels across the UK, from our doorstep on the wild Cornish moors all the way to Northern Ireland. HERITAGE
The core materials for our bed manufacturing comes from our very own private family farm in the heart of Cornwall. With over a century of sheep farming experience, we are the only UK luxury bed makers who produce all of their own wool! Therefore, by choosing our luxury beds, you are receiving a piece of our heritage, filled with passion, love and the finest materials Cornwall has to offer.
CORNISH WOOL
Our wool mattresses are hand upholstered with the highest quality fillings including pure hand-teased wool from our own Cornish flocks. Once sheared, the wool goes through a meticulous cleaning process, removing all contaminants. The fibres are then painstakingly sorted based on their quality, ready for use in our mattresses, duvets and pillows.
NATURAL MATERIALS
The Celtic Bed Company use only the finest grade wool for mattresses as well as other premium quality natural materials and fibres including horsehair, alpaca fleece, silk and cashmere. Even down to the pure, hand tied wool tufts, which remain unbleached and entirely natural.
EGYPTIAN COTTON
Egyptian cotton boasts a high thread count, providing strength and durability. Our mattress coverings are 100% pure, chemical-free and fire retardant. Finished with hand side-stitching and our embroidered stamp, the result is an exceptionally comfortable, sumptuous and inviting mattress, designed to last for years.
