Furniture World is a family run business, which started trading in 1984 in Redruth. From these beginnings, the company has expanded throughout Cornwall and into Devon.

We are now one of the leading independent furniture retailer’s in the South West with six stores across Devon and Cornwall. Our branches carry traditional and modern furniture ranges, covering all areas of your home from Bedroom Furniture to Dining Furniture and a wide selection of Sofas and Armchairs. We have leading brand manufacturer’s including G-Plan and Tetrad, alongside our own product collections meaning we have something in store for everyone's taste and budget.

In 2008, we invested in a purpose built head office/distribution centre based in Redruth. This has allowed us to vastly increase our furniture stock holdings to around £1 million pounds, which in turn means our customer’s benefit from a quicker delivery service. From point of order to being in your home, within a matter of days, depending on location!

We offer a pleasant no hassle shopping experience, where our experienced staff are always on-hand to provide knowledgeable advice to you, and to help with your furniture decision making process.

Several of our stores include a massive selection of carpets and we offer a measuring, estimating and fitting service as well as offering a delivery service within the local area.

In 2013 we took over the former Barn Nightclub premises in Penzance. After a full renovation the store was opened under a new brand, The Outlet Barn. The Outlet Barn is our dedicated clearance centre to clear through our end of line furniture items and ex display models as well as bulk deals with our suppliers. The website is updated daily to show a small selection of the items for sale.
