Orla Kiely OBE founded her business in 1995 to realise her dream of bringing modern mid-century inspired pattern, a hint of 1960’s cool and the comforting nostalgia for the time into everyday 21st century life. Based on her 3 deep rooted passions of colour, pattern and good design, the personality and creative mark of the brand were rooted, following the simple philosophy that the fun, bold and graphic style Orla so adores, can bring joy and smiles to many.

The Alma Armchair is a bold and vintage design, with soft sloping arms and wingback sides. This accent piece will make a true statement in your living space or bedroom. Orla Kiely Upholstery is hand-made to order in the UK by skilled craftspeople. Every piece feature brand detailing such as woven tags, and signature ‘Stem’ printed lining cloth. The internal frames are made from hard wood, sourced from sustainable forests, and they are pinned, screwed, and glued to ensure maximum strength and stability.

The Rose has been specifically designed to fit into any lounge, bedroom or reading nook with smaller but perfect proportions. The retro inspired style of Rose has subtle button detailing with a comfortable padded full width seat cushion. Available in a range of fabrics including all over patterns, as well as an armchair version, the Rose is the perfect way to brighten your home.
