What's new at Furniture World

We've been working hard behind the scenes lately launching our brand new Furniture World super store in Plymouth and that has given us the chance to launch even more fabulous new ranges of furniture. Here's a round-up of our favourite new items available in store and online now. 

1. The Grant Reclaimed Narrow Sideboard. 

Think modern, chic, industrial cool. This sideboard is a totally fresh idea on the traditional sideboards. With a large drawer at the bottom. A cupboard section and two smaller drawers it's a completely practical piece of furniture. But we love how unique the sideboard is with its quirky little metal feet and it's rustic, reclaimed, wooden character. 

2. The Mammoth Pocket 2000 Sprung Edge Divan Bed

Mammoth is an exciting new range that we have just launched at Furniture World and it is simply divine. It is quite possibly one of the comfiest beds we have ever laid our eyes on.  What is unique about Mammoth is that they used to design beds and mattresses specifically for patients in hospitals. We know that buying a hospital bed does not sound that exciting, however, the team behind Mammoth beds designed their beds and mattresses to be the absolutely most comfortable for people who were so unwell that they were spending hours if not days in bed. These beds were such a success and helped so many people to recover and get such good nights sleep on such supportive mattresses that they launched their very own range based on the same technology to the general public. 

Not only are they super comfortable, the beds use a trademarked medical grade foam and are even recommended by physiotherapists. If you're still not tempted by all that technology then the temptation of under bed storage in a variety of drawer options and 9 different bed colour options this really is one of our favourite divan beds available. 

 

3. Palermo Reclaimed Painted Extending Dining Table

With Christmas just around the corner and the thoughts of all those extra mouths to feed around the table, our new extending Palermo dining table is our firm favourite. It's just gorgeous, with the distressed painted white base, topped with a gorgeous reclaimed timber table top, the table oozes driftwood beach charm and fits in perfectly with our Cornish heritage. Available with a choice of matching chairs or a matching bench in the same range, the possibilities of making this dining table suit your home is brilliant and so much more exciting than the standard wooden dining table and chairs. 

 4. Fantasy Pillow Back Corner Sofa

Our fantasy sofa isn't a new range but it is absolutely a firm favourite and worthy of a shout. The corner sofa is perfect for so many styles of homes because the sofa is completely customizable. You can choose whether to have dark brown, light brown or chrome feet. Then you can choose from 10 different fabric colour options and then choose contrasting scatter cushions. This is one of our best sellers and a firm favourite amongst staff and customers. 

5. Silentnight Geltex Pocket 2000 Divan Bed

We must really love our sleep here at Furniture World as another firm favourite is the Geltex Pocket 2000 Bed by Silentnight. It uses loads of technology including air permeable foam, gel molecules and foam crystals.... This translates into an incredible bed at an affordable price. The Geltex is famous for its breathable properties meaning that you keep cool and don't overheat throughout the night which aids you in the perfect nights' sleep. The Geltex also provides amazing body support throughout the night and provides amazing spinal alignment and support, again giving you a brilliant nights sleep.
