CORNISH WOOL
Our wool mattresses are hand upholstered with the highest quality fillings including pure hand-teased wool from our own Cornish flocks. Once sheared, the wool goes through a meticulous cleaning process, removing all contaminants. The fibres are then painstakingly sorted based on their quality, ready for use in our mattresses, duvets and pillows.
HERITAGE
Our luxury beds are crafted using core materials to construct the foundations of a comfy bed, and are then finessed with Cornish wool sourced directly from our private family farm situated in the heart of Cornwall. With more than a century of sheep farming experience, our team are proud bed makers who produce all of our own wool. This unique aspect makes choosing our luxury beds an investment in our heritage, imbued with our passion, love, and the finest wool that Cornwall has to offer.
NATURAL MATERIALS
The Celtic Bed Company use only the finest grade wool for mattresses as well as other premium quality natural materials and fibres including horsehair, alpaca fleece, silk and cashmere. Even down to the pure, hand tied wool tufts, which remain unbleached and entirely natural.
EGYPTIAN COTTON
Egyptian cotton boasts a high thread count, providing strength and durability. Our mattress coverings are 100% pure, chemical-free and fire retardant. Finished with hand side-stitching and our embroidered stamp, the result is an exceptionally comfortable, sumptuous and inviting mattress, designed to last for years.
