RESPONSE TO COVID-19

OUR STORES

Following the update from the UK Government earlier this week, I wanted to let you know about the changes we are making when the new Covid-19 regulations come into effect on Monday 19 July. From sanitiser stations in our stores to protective screens, treatment of our display products and regular testing for all our staff, these are measures that many of you will be familiar with.

When restrictions ease from Monday 19 July, your shopping experience in our stores will not noticeably change. Our staff will continue to wear face coverings, our customer service staff will continue to be behind protective screens and sanitiser stations will remain in place. When we make deliveries, our fully contactless delivery protocols will continue, including checking with each and every customer we deliver to that they and their household do not have any Covid-19 symptoms.

Some things however will change. In line with the changes in restrictions, the requirement to adhere to 2 metre social distancing restrictions in store will end and face coverings will no longer be a legal requirement for customers entering stores.

However, I would ask that you consider continuing to maintain a suitable distance from other customers and staff while in store, together with wearing a face covering , so that you and our staff are protected as far as is possible.

Best Wishes
